I had an absolutely incredible time this past freshman year, moving across the country, meeting so many new people, and participating in research for the first time! This past spring semester, I researched in the field of AI-Ethics, which you can learn more about above. In addition, I immersed myself into UF's Honors Program, the University Research Scholars Program, and many others. I presented at a research symposium for the first time as well as submitted an abstract, the first step towards publishing my first research article.

An exciting start to my sophomore year, I had the opportunity to TA my first class, Research & Creativity, giving me the opportunity to mentor young University Research Scholars who were in my shoes just a year prior. I've also developed my coding skills, becoming proficient in both Python and C++, while having the opportunity to work on personal programming endeavors outside of class. In addition, I've been invited to participate in several leadership opportunities, most notably as a Retreat Counselor for The Mount Retreat 2024, a YoungLife College Leader, Real World Engineering Software Engineer, and as a Recruitment Counselor in the 2024 round of Formal Recruitment.
