Overview

My first college-level computer science class, Programming Fundamentals I, culminated with a final group project centered around recreating the game Sudoku. Our implementation featured several functionalities, such as a sketch function and a highlighting mechanism for the selected box using a red border. In addition, we incorporated three distinct game modes—Easy, Medium, and Hard—each varying in the number of empty boxes: 30 for Easy, 40 for Medium, and 50 for Hard. On the board page, users can access three additional buttons: Reset, Restart, and Exit. Selecting Reset clears the board, removing all sketches and placed numbers. Opting to Restart brings the user back to the main menu screen, while choosing Exit closes the game screen entirely. This project not only pushed the boundaries of my Python proficiency but also developed my communication and collaboration skills.
